Gratitude

Thankful Together: Parents, Teachers, and Love and Logic

In our blogs, we sometimes share what our customers tell us about how Love and Logic has changed their lives as well as the lives of their kids or students. Most of our customers tell us how very grateful they are for what Love and Logic has done for them and the kids in their lives. Below are two examples from this past week that exemplify these sentiments: one from a parent and one from a teacher.

A Parent's Perspective

The first call was from a therapist who not only used Love and Logic in her practice but also used it with her kids. She told us about one of her kids who started college earlier this year. After a few weeks at college, her kid sent a message saying:

"I am way more prepared to handle things in school and life than the other kids here."

We often hear from parents who have used Love and Logic and have seen how their kids turn into responsible, respectful, and resilient adults.

A Teacher's Experience

The other call was from a college professor who specializes in teaching the 9 Essential Skills for the Love and Logic Classroom in a program for teachers at his college. He started this program recently and now has heard back from graduates of the program who tell him how well the techniques work and are helping them with classroom management.

Many new teachers leave the teaching profession primarily because of classroom management difficulties they encounter. Clearly this professor’s experience shows how Love and Logic can help new educators fulfill their dream of teaching instead of abandoning their careers in frustration.

Gratitude for Our Customers

At Love and Logic, we are grateful for our customers and the wonderful feedback they provide. For us, this demonstrates the value of the Love and Logic approach and convinces us that we are fulfilling our mission to enable parents and teachers to help kids grow into responsible, respectful, and resilient adults.

We are also grateful for all our readers and customers who have supported and encouraged us with our transition and restructuring since the pandemic. Although we are quite different in many ways, we still have the same values and mission—to give parents and teachers the tools they need to “help kids become their own best problem-solvers, so you don’t have to solve their problems for them.”

Thanks for reading!
